OAEPS FACULTY, NON-FACULTY, GRADUATE STUDENT, AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT CALL FOR PAPERS
The Ohio Association of Economists and
Political Scientists (OAEPS) is now
accepting proposals for papers,
presentations, and roundtables for the 2010
Fall Conference. The dual theme of the conference
will be the 2010 Midterm Elections and The Budget Deficit: How Big an Issue,
and What Should Be Done About It. The OAEPS, however, welcomes submissions on
any topics in the research and teaching of
economics and political science.
CALL FOR PAPERS
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 1, 2010
Undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and non-faculty are encouraged to send submissions into the OAEPS for either economics or political science. Cash prizes are awarded in each discipline for undergraduate students. Papers must be sent electronically to either Professor Robert Rogers for economics, Professor Craig Ramsay for undergraduate student political science submissions, and Professor Andrew Lucker for faculty, non-faculty, graduate student and undergraduate studen tpolitical science submissions by the deadline.
Rules for undergraduate student entries:
• Entry must have been written during the academic year 2009-10.
• Entry must be accompanied by one faculty letter of support, addressed to the relevant contact for OAEPS.
• Joint papers with faculty are not accepted for the contest; however, joint papers by two or more undergraduates are acceptable.
• Student(s) must be willing to present the work at the annual conference in order to be eligible for any prize. If there is more than one author, OAEPS requires only one individual to present for eligibility; however, all authors are welcome to be part of the presentation.
• Full papers are required by the deadline.
All undergraduate students invited to present their work will have registration and lunch fees waived by the organization.
