The 2012 Annual Meeting will take place Oct. 12-13, 2012, on the campus of Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH. Comfortable lodging accommodation is available on campus at The Inn at Ohio Northern University. The Annual Meeting will feature four separate paper competitions. Monetary awards will recognize top undergraduate and graduate research papers in economics and political science. Please encourage your returning students to revise their papers during the summer for submission to the appropriate competition. The formal Call for Papers will be distributed this summer but we can anticipate a submission deadline of September 7th. Panel discussions will feature topics important to all Ohioans such as “fracking” and redistricting. Join us Friday evening for networking, adult refreshment, and lively conversation and Saturday for lunch to make the experience more complete and satisfying. graduate students from across Ohio who work
to produce and disseminate useful research
on subjects related to Ohio’s economy and
politics. Our activities include an annual
conference and publication of the Journal of
Economics and Politics.
The OAEPS recently held its 71st annual
conference and meeting October 7th and 8th, 2011
at Bowling Green State University. Highlights of the conference
included discussions on the Ohio
Senate Bill 5 and Issue 2, a panel discussion
that addressed economic development strategies for Ohio, and
presentations of student and faculty papers.
